Restaurants Made For Romance
It’s time to make reservations for Valentine’s Day – enjoy a romantic dinner at one of these great NOLA restaurants!
Commander’s Palace is a lovely, upscale restaurant serving modern takes on Creole food made with locally-sourced ingredients. Enjoy a flavorful turtle soup, followed by pecan-roasted fish with a rich bourbon sauce. Finish with a classic, sweet praline parfait!
This restaurant serves a delicious flounder Pontchartrain stuffed with blue crabmeat, but for a special date night, get their special menu with a yellowtail appetizer, a cool and bold cucumber soup, and a juicy wagyu steak served with tomatoes and artichokes. The meal is made complete with a rich dark chocolate tart topped with salted caramel.
Bistro Daisy serves American food in a beautiful, intimate setting, perfect for connecting with your date. Start with oysters poached in cream, then try their spicy saffron bouillabaisse, rich and full of local, fresh seafood. For dessert, you can’t beat their crepes filled with chocolate and peanut butter mousse, then topped with bananas and a bourbon caramel sauce.

Chef Spicer at Bayona draws upon influences from a variety of cuisines, most notably Creole and French. Their duck breast comes with a rich, tarte bing cherry sauce, or for a lighter meal, enjoy the Thai-inspired redfish, served with bok choy and a shrimp dumpling. Finish with a spicy ginger flan topped with fresh peaches and blueberries.
