COOLinary New Orleans Restaurant Month

 

 

New Orleans is a foodie destination year-round, but only in August does the COOLinary month-long event really highlight the tastes of the city. Around the city, restaurants offer prix-fixed menus that showcase the spices, ingredients, and flavors that are unique to New Orleans. From Cajun to Creole and everything in between, there’s no better way to sample the best dishes in town.

New restaurants may be added to the COOLinary festival throughout August, so keep an eye on the official site for last-minute additions. This year, favorites are returning with fresh takes on their specialties. You don’t want to miss the menu at American Sector Restaurant + Bar where new American classics are updated with local twists, or what’s on offer at Antoine’s Restaurant in the French Quarter with its classic Italian fare.
